Camera Obscura is a darkened box with a convex lens of aperture for projecting the image of an external object onto a screen inside.
-we used an Altoid box and drilled a hole in the front
- took a pin and poked a hole through to make the lens
- tapped light sensitive paper inside box
-tapped all of the inside of box
-tapped lens so no light can pass through
-tapped box shut
-hung box outside
-took tape off lens and left it there for three days
The shutter was created by the black electrical tape and aperture was created by how big the hole was in the box
The focal length was 21.28mm
Where did you place your camera and what was your exposure time? I placed my camera on a trash can outside facing the side of the school , exposure time was three days.
The light source was the sun
The image was a brown/ red color the image was flipped backwards of the school
Explain the steps you took to "process" your pinhole negative with the scanner and Photoshop.
-took paper out of box and put it in scanner in the top right corner
-Named your picture, saved it, hit scan
-Teacher will email picture
-Go to Photoshop
-Hit invert
-Flip horizontal
-adjust levels
-Put pictures side by side
-email to teacher
I was surprised of how clear the image came out. If I could re-do the process i would place my camera somewhere the image would be facing the sun so i cold get light in my photo.

Out of school I placed my camera on a tree outside my house facing the road.
I had my camera out for 2 and a half weeks
The storm may have affected the focus of my photo and the location affected my photo to have no light in my photo.
I had to tape my camera better then the first time so it wouldn't move or get affected during the storm.
It is similar because it has no light in the photo and it is very clear.
The second photo is clearer and has a more interesting location then the first photo.
